FOOD DONATIONS
Over the past several years we have found that “food drives” did not always fill the needs of our recipient familes with nutritious and supplementary food that would help provide full meals for families. Therefore, we have adapted our Food Drive through the schools accepting monetary donations toward grocery store gift cards and pantry/staple foods. Each family is provided several boxes of carefully selected nutritous foods and a grocery store gift card to purchase fresh food items such as milk, butter, produce and prefered proteins. All funds received from the “food drive” at schools are spent to directly provide food assistance to our recipients. Additional donations received are used to supplement food provisions and provide toys and gifts to children.
TOY DONATIONS
Toy Donation boxes will be out at our local businesses again for collecting new toys to distribute to children. Toys will be wrapped and packaged for all recipient children from 0-11 years old. We will be providing Gift Cards to children 12-17 to allow them to purchase something special just for them. If you are interested in supporting the Toy Program, please consider donating gift cards for Target and/or Walmart or monetary support to to purchase the gift cards. Gift cards and/or monetary donations can be mailed to Santee Santas at P.O. Box 710033, Santee, CA 92072-0033.
Donations also may be made using a credit card using the Donate PayPal button above.
