Applications for the 2026 Holiday Program will open on October 15, 2026 and must be submitted before midnight on November 20, 2026.
You must qualify to apply (see information below) and incomplete or incorrect applications may result in you being denied assistance by Santee Santas.
Santee Santas provides assistance during the Holiday Season by delivering food and toys/gifts for children in the family under 18 years of age, to qualifying families. This assistance is available to extremely and very low-income families who live within the City of Santee (92071) or one of the neighboring areas that is located within the boundaries of attendance for the Santee School District. Please check the documents below to determine if your family is eligible for assistance. PLEASE NOTE: Income limits have changed for 2026.

Applications are available ONLINE ONLY beginning October 15, 2026, and will be accepted until midnight on November 20, 2026. No applications will be accepted after midnight of November 20, 2026. If you are unable to complete an Online Application, please contact Santee Santas for assistance.

INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE APPLICATION
Please carefully read and follow these Instructions to avoid delay or interruption in processing your application. If your child needs verification of home address from the school because they are not listed on the rental agreement/lease/or mortgage statement, you MUST get the document from the school or district because when you print it out from the school app it does not have your registered address. That is the information we need. When the school prints it out it has the address.
This Application is for requesting assistance from the Santee Santas Foundation for the 2026 Annual Holiday Food and Toy Program.
It is very important that each section of the application be answered as completely and accurately and that all required documentation is included for your application to be considered. You may attach scanned documents or a picture taken with your phone. Be sure all of the information is visible.
The Application can be accessed below. You will first be asked to “log in” or “create a new account.” If you completed an application online in a previous year you already have an account set up to “log in” with your email address. If this is your first time, select “Create a New Account.”
Fill in all spaces applicable. Complete all the information and attached the required documents for the adults and children living in your home. Leave “extra” spaces empty. (For example, if you have only 3 children, you will leave the information boxes for Children #4, #5, and #6 blank.)
Please be sure that all the questions for each Adult and Child are answered and all required documents are attached.
Once the Application is complete, you will select SUBMIT and your application will be delivered to Santee Santas. Upon successfully submitting your application, you will receive a notification that your application has been received.
You may revisit your application to make a change or add information. If any changes are made, be sure to SAVE them before you close the application or your changes will be lost.
Applications must be received on or before midnight of November 20, 2026.
If your application is incomplete or is missing verifying documents or required information, you may not be approved for assistance.
